A black hole is a region of space and time where gravity is so strong that absolutely NOTHING, including light and other electromagnetic waves, can escape its grasp. The boundary of no escape is known as the event horizon.
While the crossing of the event horizon determines the fate and circumstances of an object crossing it, it has no real detectable features in reference to general relativity.
“In many ways, a black hole acts like a black body, it reflects no light. Moreover, quantum field theory in curved spacetime predicts that event horizons emit Hawking radiation, with the same spectrum as a black body of a temperature inversely proportional to its mass. This temperature is of the order of billionths of a kelvin for stellar black holes, making it essentially impossible to observe directly.” ~ wikipedia
Deep calls unto deep.
Black holes are one of the great wonders of the universe. The literal void. They say if you stare too long into the abyss, the abyss stares back. The darkness consumes all it grasps into its depths. A terrifying fate to behold….
But what if when we ventured into the void we closed our eyes, our ears, and even ourselves?
What would be left?
A new song.
Black holes sing a song not of fear and death, but of love and creation.
They sing a song known only in the deepest depths of Heaven. A love of such mournful beauty and wonder that no other can compare to its majesty. A sacrificial, agape love. A love that knows no limits. Not space nor time, not death nor life, not heaven nor hell, nor anything beyond what we could ever imagine could overcome such a love.
“For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor or height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord.” ~ Rom 8
It is not his will that any should perish. Therefore, none who choose to bow in submission before him will perish. Our God keeps his promises. Thats just who he is.
Its a choice. We always have a choice.
This is the Faith of Abraham and the covenant his descendants carry inside them. Fulfilled fully in the new covenant with Lord Jesus Christ, it belongs to both Jew and Gentile.
There are NO non-player characters, no real difference between “sheep/wolves”, no infertile ground, no one too lost or too far gone that Jesus cannot reach you. All you have to do is turn around and follow the path back home. All of creation leads back to the same name.
King of King’s and Lord of Lord’s Jesus Christ.
